Through its programmes over the years, if has been able to increase awareness of the “benefits of professionalism” and help agents move earnestly toward the ultimate achievement, which is qualification for the Million Dollar Road Table (MDRT).
There are three designations within this elite club:
- Knight of the Inner Circle
- Inner Circle
- Member
…with the Knight of the Inner Circle being the highest qualification level. Qualifying for these designations is done each contract year and, therefore, agents strive to improve their standing by improving the quality and quantum of their sales portfolio. The club also encourages a higher level of client services, which must be in keeping with the excellence standards set for the Club.
Awards of the Leader’s Club
The distinction of President of the Leader’s Club is given to the agent with the highest level of the qualifying criterion of new business while achieving top status on other aspects of the portfolio. It, therefore, means that these positions are based on performance throughout the previous year and are even more prestigious as a result.
Each year, the President will receive the C.O. Monsanto Award while the Senior Vice President gets the C.L. Duprey Award at the Presidential Dinner. Vice Presidents are also required to produce at a high level, thus that position is also a mark of distinction within the privileged club.
There are other awards given to members including:
- Raymond Dieffenthaller Award for the Sergeant of Arms
- Awards for agents on qualification
- Awards for agents qualifying for five consecutive years
- Life Membership for agents qualifying for the CLICO Leader’s Club for seven consecutive years
- All vice presidents are given an award according to their respective level of achievement.
